Lightning AI adheres to national and regional data protection regulations by offering options that meet diverse data residency requirements.

## Regional residency policy {#regional-residency-policy}

Customer data is stored in data centers within the specified geographic regions to comply with local data protection regulations. Data will not be transferred outside these regions without prior notice and consent, ensuring compliance with national and regional legal requirements. Customers can choose the location where their data is stored based on their residency needs.

## Choosing storage region {#choosing-storage-region}

Set data residency requirements by linking a cloud account. Choose a default region and any additional regions to enhance resource availability.

Lightning AI supports all major US, EU, Asia regions. Additional support can be provided upon request.
